Considering that Daredevil can do more with his senses than regular people, isn't it a little offensive that he pretends to be handicapped? He is technically blind, but he's not really disadvantaged by it.
I wonder how Anon thinks Daredevil is being offensive? His secret identity was tied to being a person who lost his eye sight during childhood. Was he supposed to have blown his cover? Should he also have let everyone know he is a ninja?
I wonder how much time this person spends finding this to be offended by?
He’s still impaired in many ways. He can’t drive or see colors. He can’t read screens. If it’s raining or loud his radar sense doesn’t work. He can’t use mirrors and windows are “translucent” at best. And super sensitive senses can be disabling in and of themselves, as has been shown in many Daredevil comics. I have to wonder how much daredevil this person has actually read.
I am pretty sure showing he/she was enlightened and cared about the plight of the truly handicapped was more important.
Wow, people’s stupidity level never ceases to amaze me.
